Rogers Drum Kit Early 70s Butcher Block 4 Pc 22/16/13/12.
For sale is a beautiful set of early 1970's Rogers drums in a beautiful butcher block wrap. These are 5 ply shells with reinforcement rings and speckled granitone interiors. The sizes are 8x12, 9x13, 16x16 and 14x22. The structure of the shells and the bearing edges are immaculate. All drums appear to be perfectly in round and they tune up nicely. There is some rust in places (mostly tension rods, some places on the rim, and a few places on some of the hardware.) All lugs, hardware, and bass drum rims are original, but a couple rims and some tension rods are not. There is a small crack in the tom mount hardware on the 12" tom. This keeps it from tightening to the mount completely. The internal dampener is missing from the 13” tom. The wrap is also in great condition, with only one crack in the wrap on the bass drum (shown in the pictures) and very minimal scratching on the floor tom. The wood bass drum hoops are in above average condition for a kit of this age. The kit sounds amazing. Very warm and tonal. The ideal vintage sound.
