Up for sale is a beautiful Vintage 5-piece Rogers Blue Onyx Pearl Londoner Drum Set featuring a 20” Bass Drum, 16” Floor Tom, 13” Tom Tom, 12” Tom Tom—equipped with original swivomatic dual tom mount—also with an accompanying 5 x 14 Chrome Powertone snare drum. This set looks great and sounds even better!
This hallmark Rogers set is in excellent condition. Nothing says 1960s like Rogers Blue Onyx. The blue onyx pearl wraps have a deep and animated pattern with beautiful high luster. The chrome lugs glisten and are remarkably well-preserved. This set defies its age. Just out-of-the-box beautiful. Exquisite!
The swivomatic hardware and triple-flanged hoops, as well as the shell interior mounting screws and bolts, are all original and in excellent condition. Original center assembly of dual tom tom holder, bass drum spurs, and floor tom legs are also in exceptional condition.
The shells are in round and the reinforcement rings are in excellent condition. The bearing edges are original and true. They are in impeccable condition—no chips or dents, remarkably smooth and well-preserved for a drum set of this era—and they produce impeccable sound.
This vintage Rogers drum kit sounds amazing with both vintage and modern drumheads—from calfskin to mylar to kangaroo. Because the player’s choice of heads is so particular, set in a universe of choices, pictured drumheads are NOT included in the sale, with the exception of the snare-side snare drum head,  the Batter-side Bass Drumhead, and the Front Bass Drumhead, featuring the Rogers logo.
This authentic 1960s Vintage Rogers Drum Set exemplifies superior Rogers craftsmanship of the era and delivers the deep, warm, resonant tones, as well as the powerful projection, that defined a decade.

The Londoner first premiered in the1967 Rogers Catalog. This classic Londoner kit was manufactured at Rogers’ factory in both Cleveland, Ohio and Fullerton, California where Rogers moved in 1969. Since Rogers manufactured the drums in different locations, there is a very slight variation in color tone between the Cleveland and the Fullerton drum wraps.
